1. Runners World, West Perth. (2 Felts, 1 Giant, 1 Wheeler, loads of parts)
2. Jet Cycles, Gosnells. (1 Giant, 1 Apollo, lots of accessories)
3. Kalamunda Cycles. (Lots of very helpful advice)

Many shops are OK and have been helpful, Guildford Cycles, Wards Morley, Fleets Freo & Perth, Parkers Nedlands(1 Merida), Bike Force South Perth & Morley.

What type of bike are you looking for? I could make a better suggestion if I knew.

OK, for Full Suspension go to Tim at Kalamunda Cycles, he is in the "mountains" and has the best experience (inc racing) with MTBs that I have seen. He will have second hand also.

http://www.kalamundacycles.com.au/

Edit: I have sent Tim an e-mail, he may reply direct to you. The link works OK from here.

xtreme cycles - Perth City Wellington street.

I used to live in Norseman 900k's from Perth. Xtreme was great, very helpful, ordered the bikes in for us, great communication via email. Got a discount as we brought two bikes, 3yrs free servicing, and 10% (or 15% can't remember now) off any bits & pieces we purchased during that time. Plus they sell SPECIALIZED!

I purchased the bikes almost 5yrs ago now. Living in Townsville atm. Still have their business card - so I guess contact details would be the same:

563 Cnr Queen & Wellington Sts Perth Wa 6000
Ph: 9481 5448
Fax: 9481 5480
Email (not sure if still current) xtreme@space.net.au

They sell Avanti, Cannondale & Specialized (or did when I was dealing with them). Haven't been thre in the past 2yrs though due to moving interstate.

I think Steve Rukavina is the proprietor (owner) of the shop.

I went with specialized brand mainly due to the service the bike shop gave me (compared to one I contacted when I was looking at Giant in the same price range) and the fact that specialized offered lifetime warranty on the frame & the shop offered 3yrs servicing free. Have never had any trouble with the bike, or the service.

Good Luck

Yes, sorry that's the only downfall, they don't have a website (as far as I know - but try the yellow pages just in case). They do have two shop locations though, the city one, and another - possibly in Rockingham or somewhere like that.

Sorry guys, Xtreme Cycles have been gone for more than a year. Fleets took it over, see my first reply: "Fleets Perth & Fremantle"
