My next important race is with a group of guys I have never raced with before. Any tips for figuring out as quickly as possible who the strong guys are in the group AND with the least effort!
So far I generally observe how strongly people will pull through on the paceline, to try to get a feeling for how much effort they are putting it. Would a few short attacks off the front hopefully pull the stronger ones out of the group, so that you could keep your eye on them coming up to the final sprint? |
