hi,
i just bought a mountain bike about a month ago. it came with tioga factory XC's i am not a pro, but i do get crazy a little. i do some off-road and skidding (on streets) some times. anyway, i just noticed that the back tire is already losing the tread in the middle. in some points it's totally gone! is this normal, for it to wear that fast, or did i get a defective tire? any suggestions on what tires i should get that will last? thanks |

any advice on a good gripping, more durable tire that last longer? i do a lot of wheelies and skids. (i know, i sound like a little kid, but hey, it's fun...until i break a bone or go broke from buying tires!) |

Try a non-xc tyre. Something for all-mountain/downhill. It'll be heavier, but it'll have a lot more rubber and will last longer. |
