Default Go Isis, or Go X-Type BB ?????

Hello All,

Just checking to see if anyone here has had a good/bad experience with the new X-type(Race Face) BB - or Shimano outer-bearing system ?

I'm in the market for a new crankset/BB ......... 70kg./155lbs ........ and I'm not sure if Isis would be good enough for me , or if X-type is worth going to. I've heard some pro's /cons about both systems..... but just checking to see if anyone else out there can add any additional info. to the mix.

Thanks in advance

Here's a loaded mackeral! Got the outer bearing cranks on both M-bike and Road bike, Just haven't put that many miles on either one to say if its better, They have a stiffer feel, seem to climb well, but more miles will tell the story of durability. sorry I couldn't help more
