ride from Cairo to Cape Town
Anyone heard of the Tour d'Afrique cycling expedition from Cairo to Cape Town. Its an epic journey by bike covering 12000 km. Check out the site, and leave your comments. www.tourdafrique.com

For me, it hasnīt got anything to do with bike traveling. Itīs rather a race. For sure itīs heaps better than Paris-Dakar for more environmentally friendly. But for the local people itīs similar. They do notice stressful, tired foreigners fitted in futuristic, silly dressing unfit for many cultures along the way(Sudan, Egypt).
