Default what duely for the money?

i am about to buy a duely soon, i will mainly freeride dirt jumps and drop offs i was looking at the specielized big hit base model for 2000aus or would the higher up comp be better for 3500aus

can you suggest a good strong bike that is cheap i dont need the lightest bike but i think the base big hit model is ok and i can upgrade it later
my budget is limited for a while
