Default Tory Leadership : who's going to win

Just looking at the Tory leadership contest at the moment.

Ken Clarke - David Davis seem to be the front runners.

Who will the Tories select ?
Keeping in mind that Blair is about to step down and Gordon Brown will be PM,
I think Clarke might just prevail.

The Tories have a long way to go. Their situation is difficult as conservative ideas have almost disappeared in this country, which is odd since even the sixties had a conservative element to society.
So long as they don't resurrect IDS. God knows how IDS got as far as he did. He seems like nature intended him to be for ever in black and white and not in colour.
