I've noticed in certain posted members listing the stone figure (13.5 stone), what does this mean?

actually, i *think* stone is a measure of weight and not mass! however, stone is an English measurement, whilst people in the US tend to use pounds (lb) and the scientific (SI) unit is grams (g) and kilograms (kg). There's 14 lb in a stone, and it's 2.20462 lb to a kg (although i use 2.2 when quickly working things out!) Thus 13.5 (however, does that mean 13 and a half stone or 13 stone 5 lbs????) is therefore: 85.91 kg (2.2 lb / kg) 85.73 kg (2.20462 lb / kg) 85 kg (2.2 lb and 13stone5lb) Ric
