Good evening everybody,
Travelling in France towards Calais then England, I had an accident with a car this morning. Got bumped into from behind and sent flying and no, I was not wobbling. Nothing very serious for me beside some bruises and damage (hopefully temporary) to my self-confidence, but there is some damage to the bike. I just got new wheels from the local Decathlon where they proved really helpful. But one of my dear and brand-new Ortliebs is dead. I am trying to hang it from the rack with some cords, but the bike is definitely not as stable as before, and I dont know if I will really be able to go far with this temporary repair. Could anyone tell me of a good bike shop in either Dover, Hastings, Brighton, or Portsmouth where they would carry good weatherproof panniers, possibly Ortliebs ? TIA, it helps not to feel totally alone in these circumstances. Turtle. Qnd I hqte these bloodw French kewborqds; especiqllw zhen the letters qre zorn out: |

The mail order company Wiggle are based in Portsmouth. I'm sure if you gave them a call they would be able to help you out. (even if they have to deliver to a hotel or B&B) http://www.wiggle.co.uk
