Dutch program Holland Sport about doping

Yesterday I watched a dutch sportprogram Holland Sport about doping. The guests were Lotz and Ben Berden, both caught with epo!!

I thought the story of Lotz was interesting:
He said he was sick and tired getting beaten by better riders so he thought a little epo might help. So what did Lotz do, yes you guessed it he typed in epo on google and that's how he got ALL his information......

After he got the information he bought the epo at a pharmacy in Aaken (like Timan said you can get epo everywhere and the info is on the internet!). Lotz is a known name in belgium so he asked a friend to buy it for him.

Then the hosts asked how he felt the first time he took epo: was he shaking, shooting in the bathroom, how did it go?

Lotz said that he didn't know much about needles and that he was nervous the first time.......btw he kept his epo in the refridgerator with the vegetables LOL!!!

So fastforward one day Lotz got called by the police and that they were looking for steroids........NOT epo!!!

Lotz panicked and revealed to the police he had epo in the refridgerator.....AFTER the police searched his whole house were they didn't find anything, but Lotz didn't know that. Haha he got himself caught......how ironic!

And to all the doubters.....he said that IF he didn't get caught he would still be using and would have passed every test......(HUH I thought the tests were good )

Some comments about the show:
It was obvious that he didn't reveal everything. The hosts asked him about the LA case, which he only replied with that he thought LA was so amazingly talented that he doesn't need epo.......

(btw 2 months ago Lotz implied in a dutch newspaper ''Limburger'' that LA couldn't have won the tour clean, however he got lots of bad reactions from fans on his guestbook. Even english posters who said: ''THINK before you speak up THINK!''....so a couple of days after the interview he said sorry to the fans on his site and didn't mean to imply LA was doing anything illegal)


One host (who knows much about cycling) asked him how much % he thinks of the peloton is on something. You know what Lotz said: ''1% and that's me''.......the hosts couldn't appreciate that BS answer and asked him again for figures, but Lotz didn't want to say more about that.....omerta

Also they wondered if Lotz asked teammates for dopingadvice....but his answer wasn't really clear on that......''yeah of course we talk you know''

How ironic......at then end of the show there was a doping quizz and Lotz joined the audience (200 people or so).....haha he won; he knew every doping question.....how ironic.....
