all mountain all day?
Hello!
i have an older cannondale hardtail that has served me well on the local fireroads. i've tried to take it out to the single track out there when i first started a few years back, but i got tossed around and jostled like no other. i haven't been riding as much as i would have liked the past two years (college), but i've been road biking for the past year and i'm excited about getting back on the trails. -especially some singletrack! i'm looking for a good rig that will help me bomb the technical singletrack but that i can also ride all day - and that can also tackle some hills and climb when necessary. any good recommendations or advice? things i should be aware of? i am looking to buy a used bike- so older model recommendations are appreciated too. budget- i'd really like to spend under 2 grand if it's possible. i've looked at the trek liquid and the giant ac. any comments? thanks for the help!! |

Have you looked at Jamis bikes at all? Lot's of bang for the buck component wise.
