Default Need Advise on Long Tour

This is what I am planning. An approximate 6 month tour to 14 National Parks out West. We are planning on taking a large pick up truck for gear. Planned number of bicyclists is about 12. Planning on riding the bikes the whole way except one 1000 mile segment between Lassen and Yellowstone. We will camp everywhere except Yellowstone. As I understand it it is better to sleep in cabins there because of the bears. Any advise? Thanks.
