Im just curious all I ever read on this site is how Lance dopes and so does every other ryder in the peloton who rides up front. So my question is why do you even bother to watch a sport that is so dirty? Personally I don't give a damn unless the individual comes up positive. Jan is my favorite rider in the peloton so im not defending Lance. I follow cycling because I love it good or bad and watching cycling inspires me to ride harder and race for myself. If a European one the tour multiple times as of now we wouldn't hear anything about doping. So why is it that you watch this amazing, intense sport.

Because dope or not , they still suffer more than any other sportsman in the world for their living. And every sport has dope and cheating in some form. Dope doesnt make the pain go away.I respect anyone who decides pro cycling is a career for them.Theyre the hardest of the hard. (dont bring up a Euro vs America atmosphere to the thread though : if a European , an Asian , an Australisan , an Eastern Bloc ,a South American or anyone else from any corner of the World had won the tour 7 times there would still be doping allegations) |

There is no Eastern Bloc any more.... there is one Europe.... perhaps you were referring to Eastern Europe ? Eastern Bloc was the term given to countries of the former Soviet Socialist republics which no longer exist anymore. |
