what is this tour de france classification, does it still exist??

Yes it still exist. Most combative rider is a rider who were in the break at the most. It`s counting separately every stage and rider who was most combative previous stage have number on red instead of white.

thanks for the reply. noticed the commentators pointing out the red number. in 2003 vino won the combativity prize for his efforts through out the tour, can't find the 2005 winner. i wondering whether it was awarded?
