Default The Armstrong myth Destroyed

His coaches claims that he is a physical "Freak" ="Physically I'm not any more gifted that anybody else," Armstrong explained, (Quote from"inside the tour de france" book)

His claim that weight loss helped improve his performances in the mountains=
His claimed weight in 1994 was 75kg and today is 75kg, NO WEIGHT LOSS

Fact=he tested positive in 1999 and was let off because he produced a post dated prescription

Fact=Most of his backing squad have been linked to drugs(Chris carmichael is accused of supplying to the american youth squads of the early 90s,Ferrari-not much needs to be said, etc......)

the sad fact is that there are a small number of clean riders in the peleton
i would say 90% dope and cheat

it is the duty of the uci and us to stick up for the clean and honest riders

i have no pity for the guys who have died because of the drugs they took
its their own fault

la buy telekom(except rous and brochard who are past cheats) are a clean team for me
they had a chance to give beloki an inhaler a couple of years ago but refused on the grounds they felt he didn't need it
they could have easily given it to him and had a tour challenger on their books but done the right thing and told him where to go

If this is true, wouldn't there be some evidence within the race performance itself? The analysis I did in this post: "TDF speeds since 1903"
although not perfect, doesn't seem to suggest any dramatic improvement in the decades when doping was evidently rampant, including the last 3 years.

I'm pathetic? I'm not the one going all over this forum and posting about doping. Why don't you shut up and go ride your bike (I assume you've moved on past training wheels) and/or contribute something worthwhile.

I'm not sad, and I'm not a loser, sorry, my life is going pretty well right now, and I've been in the top 3 in my last few races. So, not really a loser.

Ta ta.
