Default New to racing

Hey Everyone

I finally have a ticket to ride (license) and am thinking of racing (C Grade) for the first time in the next couple of weeks. Any words of advice or points of etiquette I should be aware of? What happens in a scratch race I assume there will be a point where all grades are on the course at the same time? So if you find you've been over or under graded are you able to hang on to the back of another bunch? Or do you have to stay with your grade the whole time until the final lap for example?

Can anyone tell me something about the Trentham East circuit with the Northern Combine? Like where the hell is it and if there is a course map available?

Sorry for all the questions but I promise I catch on quick!!

Deitar

PS
Why can't I post upstairs in the aus Bike Cafe?
