Default i made a decision - how good was it?

i have decided to get a bianchi kingbee.

but i have no idea how its components match up. i am new to biking (not counting motocross in the 70s!), so having the absolute best at this point is pointless. but i still want to have some decent quality stuff. i feel secure in the basic bianchi frame.
if you would like, give me a quick "A, B, C, D, F" on the following parts:

RockShox Duke

Hayes Sole XC full hydraulic disc brakes

TruVativ 5D crankset (i didn't see this model even listed by the manufacturer)

WTB SpeedDisc hubs

Shimano LX rear

Shimano Deore front

Shimano Deore Rapid Fire

thanks!

Sounds like a great bike to start out with and one that should last you for a long time.

Those are all quality components and shouldn't give you any trouble

Enjoy!

thanks, guys. i tried to do my homework a bit before making the decision, but i don't know what the feeling is 'from real bikers' on this sort of stuff.

i have heard it said that it is a great way to make upgrades as things break. that sounds like solid advice, too. as long as i have a good base, then i can get maximum use out of the components i have.

sounds like a pretty good bike to start off on, i dunno about where you are but here the bianchi bikes are a little pricey for what they are, still nice bikes though, anyway.. have fun!

i settled on bianchi for a couple of reasons. 1) magnus backstedt, franco pellizotti, et al, 2) in checking things out, there was a sea of nothing but specialized and trek in every shop around these parts. i'm generally not one for being 'normal'.

i just changed my profile to show where on the globe i am (california). i have started to look for a new country this past few months, however. i cannot be any more counter to the political state of the united states currently finds itself. the USA that i heard about didn't start wars and play bully. i understand that the current administration will be gone soon. but the fact that so many citizens believe that its every move is justified makes me sick to my stomach. on top of that, my main cocnern is to be free from biblical influence in the laws that govern me.
the point? well, new zealand is apparently #1 in the world on something called the 'freedom index'. this places them high up on my list for that alone. it sure looks like an ugly place to be, too. all of those terrible mountains and horribly clean beaches. i trimmed down from about 40 countries originally, then down to three - italy, palau...and new zealand. i need to visit each of these for a bit to make a decision.
p.s. - i just love the kiwis australian accent! ; )

LOL yeah burn down all the trees, litter the beaches, drive the most unefficient de-tuned cars so we can and pollute the air, who needs a clean environment heh
