I recently purchaced a Cannondale Prophet 2000 which has the XTR rapid rise rear derailleur. After about two months it started skipping around especially under pressure and I broke a chain. I had the derailleur adjusted and it continues to skip more so in the larger 4 cogs. (very frustrating)
Can I install a regular derailleur instead of the rapid rise or are the shifters designed differenty? I have the integrated XT's. Is anyone else having problems with this derailleur, any solutions? |
