peanut butter.
i live in south florida and it is very hotttttt here in the summer. these seem to hold up best in the heat... some of the other flavors almost turn to liquid, which is a pain in the ass to eat on the bike. |

I gave up on Powerbars years ago...got tired of scraping melted goo off the wrapper. Try Cliff Bars. |

I agree-- Chocolate and Peanut Butter are my favs. too. Those summer days of 80+º around here is when they seem to turn to goo, and the wrappers "weld" themselves to the bar. ![]() |

Chocolate and peanut butter flavors for sure - but whatever you do don't buy just one kind. Costco (don't know if you guys have those) sells variety packs at wholesale - Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Vanilla Cream. I down one of those with a bottle of water before I head out.

![]() Some of our biggest hazards up here in the Pacific NW (of Canada) are the huge puddles torrents of rain cause thru fall and winter...at least most of time (except on the mts.) it's not snow. At least, for the most part, we can train outside year 'round. |
