I recently purchased a brand new '05 Specialized Rockhopper. I want to change out the fork. Right now it's a Manitou Axel Comp I believe. I'm a rider who rides both XC and trail, but primarily XC. I'm looking for a fork that bridges the gap between the two and can't quite tell from just looking and reading features and such. I want it to be stiff like an XC fork but still soft enough to take trail riding to a decent extent. Any suggestions? I'm looking now at Marzocchi MX series, Manitou Black Super air, and Manitou Skareb series. Any thoughts?
