Aren't the charities getting picky, and sometimes difficult to deal with?

I once tried to donate furniture (not crappy junk) to a charity as I no longer needed it. They wanted me to arrange the transport.

Did what you did.

it didn't go to waste

as soon as i put them out... they were gone before council clean-up, before i got home from work

shame it didn't go to someone needy... (i assume)
