Question routes in south Bavaria?

Im spending a week around Sonthofen, Bavaria soon. Does anyone know of any good routes thro' any passes/cols etc? Ive cycled across the Pyrenees before (roadie), are the mountains/cols in S Bavaria similar? I wont have any transport, so all of my riding will be done from where Im staying.

Default Re: routes in south Bavaria?

Hello!

Hope I can help you!
Take a look at the page www.alpenrennradtouren.de. There you should find some interesting routes. The page is just in german, but for each route you will find the villages you have to ride through (kind of "roadbook"?).

On the page you have to go to: Tagestouren (zur Auswahl) / Allgau

And just in case you like it really hard, then you could try the climb to the Edmund-Probst-Haus on the Nebelhorn. As far as i know itīs one of the most horrible climbs in germany
The profile is here: http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/.../nebelhorn.html
And here a german explanation: http://www.quaeldich.de/Paesse.pl?P...Haus#Oberstdorf

Hope you have fun in germany!
