Ok, I am 14, I love cycling, and have just started goin on rides around the countryside, on and offroad. I have put up with my old Univega rover 350 up until now but it is a bit on the small side and is pretty much falling apart on my 40+ mile rides.
I have £400 to spend on a bike to suit my needs, what do you recommend? Adam |

find something nice used. with shimano, (or champagnolo parts too, if we're talkin' road). find a good frame, parts/components can be replaced. and become friends with a really good bike shop nearby!
you may want to check classified ads online or in newspaper. also, make sure your bike fits you well, a good bike shop should help you with that regardless of where you got the bike from. i'm from the states, so i can't help as for as exact models. good luck! remember a lot of people have gone through the search you're doing now! myself included! ![]() |

OK I would get an older Raleigh Grand Prix or Super Grand Prix. One of the best, easiest and fun road bikes that I have ever owned.!
