I will be in Holland and would like to watch the time trial in Eindoven but am not sure as to where the start is or a place to park the car.
Can anyone give me some info or a web site that will give me some info about the race. I have tried the usual sites but there is no details. I will be near Renesse for two weeks. I have heard that there might be bus trips available from Rotterdam. Thanks Harold

All the information is on www.pro-tour.nl, both in Dutch and English. Enjoy!

What are 'masters riders'? I'm not familiar with the term I'm afraid. I'm sure there must be though, since we've got an enormous amount of cycling events. If you could tell me exactly what masters riders are I'll have a look around. Erik

Thanks, I mean veteran riders, or Senioren as they are called in German. Riders who race and are over a certain age limit. For example, I am in the 40 to 49 age group. Any info on "contre la montre" races for this age group or for events that are open to anyone, would be welcome. thanks again. gk |

Thanks for the information Aziraphale. I checked out the web site and was wondering if it would be better if I took the train to Eindoven instead of driving? Harold

I did a google search for 'tijdrit veteranen'(masters are called veteranen down here) and got numerous references to time trials but not really anything useful. I think you'd best contact the KNWU (the Dutch cycling association). Their website is www.knwu.nl. Good luck!

Usually the train's better because there will be a lot of traffic jams. There are really good connections from Rotterdam to Eindhoven and I guess NS will have more trains running on this day. Erik

you'll likely need to use a translating page for this one, but it has everything you'd pretty much need...
