Default Perth Freeway path, south

Anyone know how to continue south along the freeway from Farrington Rd?

I decided for my training ride yesterday that I'd go south along the bike path that follows the freeway as I hadn't been that way for ages. All was going great until I got to the Farrington Rd area, where the 'usual' path was blocked off.

So I followed the first detour sign (made me turn right from the bike path onto Farrington Rd), and rode for a good 1.5-2km without seeing any other signs. The storm was starting to come in so I turned around and made it back in time.

Did I go the right way? Did I miss a sign somewhere?

Cheers.

The DPI web site has the detour map: http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/cycling/

Also there is a topic on the TRIWA Bulletin Page.
