I am a city boy (NYC), but I like the security and feel of a mountain bike. I want to be able to ride in the street to cruise, in the grass and gravel, and when I encounter a 2 foot step my bike can handle it.
I was looking at Cannondale, Gary Fisher, and Klein bikes. Here are the fetures I have been looking for: ============ light frame, quality parts, non-hydrolic disc brakes, quick release seat and wheels, large diameter wheel (29"), hard tail with front shock ============ I think that I am down to choosing between a "Bad Boy" (Cannondale), a "Paragon or "Montare" (Gary Fisher), or an "Attitude V" (Klein) Any advice? |

Why don't you try an Oryx?
Or are they only available in Canada? |

I have had 2 Treks and now have a Klein Attitude, so I have always been partial to the Trek Corporation, who owns Trek, Gary Fischer and Klein. However, I love my Klein much more than the 2 trek 8000s that I owned previously. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with the Klein, as the frames are a work of art and are light & strong.
Go with the Klein!!! |

Whichever feels the best is the one! GF uses genesis geometry on a lot of there bikes and it's not for everyone! but so it goes with all manufacturers, Klein frames are soooo smoooooth! And well with Trek it's just solid design. All will have a smattering of Bontrager parts, so I say the one that feels right, is right! Good luck!
