Default The route of The Tour

I'm trying to find out what there is of interest on the tour de France route for this year. I know its a very big question, but if just one person says, Well they're going through and that's fascinating because...I'm tracking down the info for an article. I do love the Tour and that's one reason why I'm best placed to write about it. I want to look at it from the spectraor's point of view. Any pointers would be most appreciated.
With best wishes
Glyn

one of the highlights has to be Mont Ventoux.

No Ventoux. Courchevel should be pretty sweet though.

Very much agreed. And more TT, too. I would kill to see the TT into Florence.

Thanx for replying. Is the tour going anywhere near the Millau Viaduct this year?
