Back on the bike after months off with a bad back. cycled 35 miles yesterday, and my back was a little sore afterwards, but has settled down again. Unfortunately I seem to be left with reduced (but not absent) sensation in my nether regions, just on the right hand side. I'm not sure if this is a direct pressure effect (it's a new bike with new saddle) or if it's a trapped nerve from my back. Anyone else get this, or am I going to have to suffer acute embarassment and tell my (male) chiropracter when I next see him? thanks ladies

Thanks a lot for redirecting me. I know it can be really annoying when people post about stuff that's already been discussed, so I'm sorry about that. I'd read the first post and thought the topic was more about long term problems, but I've read the whole thread now and it was really helpful.

I will be ordering a new saddle.

I can maintain a bit of dignity at the chiopracters tomorrow, now too.
