Hi folks--
quick question, wondering if there are any of you mech gifted individuals willing to share any insight..i picked up a Cake frame for a friend intending to swap my 8 speed XT group off of my old homegrown..I thought it would be pretty straight forward but it looks like there may be some chainline issues..as I'm learning this is already a bit of an issue w/ these frames so I don't want to get too far behind the 8-ball. I know the bb is a 73X113 for the OEM Truvativ with a 9-spd crank, question is basically do you think this would also work for an 8-speed XT square tapered crank? Thanks for any help, sorry to start off with a question..maybe I can post something worthwile down the line a bit..happy trails |
