Just purchased my first full suspension bikes from a friend. It's an older Marin bikes(1998) with delta frame. Put 2002 XT components on it though. I'm not familiar with delta frame, just wondering what's the advantage of delta frame?

I'm no expert on DH-Big hit, type bikes, I think the double triangle, Delta style frame was mean't to strengthen the shock mount area, and decrease "metal fatigue" or a period of several years.
