Default Advice on route

Hey everyone,

My cousin and I are planning a short weekend break, hoping to ride about 50 miles per day for two days, preferably over undulating but not overly challenging roads. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on good routes, good resources for finding routes, or maybe a recommended book with route maps and profiles etc?

We're based in London, so ideally we would take a train somewhere not TOO far away, then ride for two days and take the train back.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Pineapple,

I'm a newbie to the site, and only been back on the bike for a year after a break of about 8 years. If your looking for cycling routes your first stop should be http://www.sustrans.co.uk/ which has details of loads of on road and traffic free routes.

If your going to be in Glasgow in June why not take part in the sponsored cycle I'm organising www.sponsoredcycle.com
