Head south from bordeaux to Biarritz, then you could go east along the pyrenees as far as the Toumalet/La Mongie. Then north towards Pau/Lourdes and back to bordeaux.

Just a suggestion, how far are you going each day.

Thats the first route that comes to the top of my head. will get back to you if you want some more

I usually train on the other side of the pyrenees near the med coast. But i will have a look tonight at some of the routes that i have done on the atlantic side and get back to you.

Do you want to definitely go into the pyrenees?
If you want some big hills/mountains you could head east from bourdeaux into the lot/dordogne area. That will give you the massif central and the volvic region. Last years TdF went through that area, its the area where virenque and mercx had the breakaway. very good scenery with good roads but possibly a little busy as it has many tourists.

Will find more routes for you though
