hi,
im 17 years old and am thinking about taking up road cycling. iv been going down to the velodrome lately and im really getting into it. iv also been reading up alot on cycling. my dad was a very successful road racing cyclist so i know more than your average beginner. can anyone recommend a good bike for my situation that isnt too expensive? and can someone explain the ranking system in the UK? i know in the states it Cat 1 - 5 or something... thanks. |

im sure you'd be classified as a junior, then theres categories 1-4 and elite. The specialized allez seems to be the popular cheap starter bike at the moment. tracks ace, wait till you have a crash!- its quite good actually.
