Default advice on a bike shop in London

My name is Doug and I live in the States. I found a good deal on a bike on the internet from Kelmet Cycling Shop in London. Has anyone dealt with them and are they a reputable shop? I am a little nervous about send $1500.00 to a shop I don't know and that's out of the country. THey will not ship COD. Any help or advice would really be appreciated. Thank you very much.

im sorry.. you want to buy your bike from the UK??

are you mad.. Bikes are at least 50% cheaper in the US.

have you heard of a thing called "the exchange rate"?

have you heard of a thing called "VAT" thats an extra 17.5% on what you buy.

Have you heard the UK is only the size of a postage stamp.. the US bike market is much more competative.. and so much cheaper..

what are you thinking of?
