No no, not marathon as in long, Marathon as in Schwalbe. Herself is
delighted with the new tyres, the dynamo does not slip on the dynamo track and there is no evidence of the handling problems she experienced with the Panaracer slicks she tried a couple of years back. We'll have to wait and see what they are like for puncture resistance - the old tyres (Federal Tire, made in Indonesia) only punctured twice in four years! My Marathon Plus rear tyre has been puncture free for about 18 months and I ride on carpets of glass during the winter. -- Simon M. |
