Hey folks,
I'm planning on riding along the Great Ocean Road at the end of January, from Geelong to Warrnambool. But after that I intend to keep going, but I'm having trouble figuring out where. I'm inclined to head up towards the Grampians after there. But unsure on how, and then where to after that. Does anyone have any suggestions about routes to take / roads to ride and places to go? I'm not dead set on going north after Warnambool, but I think I probably want to head back to melbourne at some point, rather than getting the train back from (say) Adelaide. I'm betting on about 100km a day. I'll be fully loaded with all my camping gear, and hoping to stay in cheap / free camp sites (or possibly off the road out of sight if it looks safe). I'm planning on going for about 10 days from just after Australia Day. Thanks for any advice! |
