With all the talk of the Madison, you would be forgiven for thinking that Revolution 6 was all about endurance, you'd be wrong. With a great line up of British Sprint stars in attendance and a brand new event thrown into the mix, Revolution 6 held on December 4th at Manchester Velodrome will offer everything you would expect from a great night's track racing.
The new event is to be a flying start 500m team sprint. Riders will race in teams of two against the clock for two laps. And with Chris Hoy and Craig MacLean, Jason Queally and Ross Edgar, taking part it we should see some quality racing. Go to the revolution site to find out more. With international stars Marvulli, Aeschbach, Gilmore, Keisse, Stam, Slippens, Backstedt and Madsen all confirmed to ride in not only the Madison but the Devil Scratch, Points and Madison TT there will be lots for the endurance fans too. With one more "Surprise Race" and two Olympic stars to be announced on Thursday 25th the racing looks set to be a veritable feast of action prior to Christmas. Keep a keen eye on www.cyclingrevolution.com for those announcements on Thursday and remember tickets are available to purchase in advance from www.cyclingrevolution.com or by calling 0700 594 2579 or you can purchase them on the night. THANKS!! |
