Anyone in the Dallas TX area...
Hi
I'm an Aussie, based in Melbourne Australia, but am about to relocate myself & my family to Dallas for a few years. Along with shipping everything over (but the kitchen sink) I'm also shipping my road bike so I can continue my early morning rides. Could anyone in the area point to me the best (and safest) spots for cycling in the Dallas area? At this stage I plan to live in either Plano, Wylie or Rockwall, so I'd hope there are some nice trails or roads appropriate for early morning cycling. Apart from knowing that Lance Armstrong grew up in Plano, I know nothing else about the area as yet... so please pardon my ignorance ...for now  I'm also hoping to find some cycling buddies out there who are keen (or mad like myself) to do 5:30-6am rides. cheers Richard. |
