I went back to cycling at the beginning of the summer after a fifteen year break, and until the weather got autumnal, managed quite well in general keep-fit type clothing. I obviously need something else if I am to keep pedalling through the winter, and would prefer to make my own.
I have all the skills for regular sewing, so this isn't daunting, but I wonder what fabrics to be looking for - and where there are good outlets. Also, what are the best features of tops and leggings (or whatever they are called!) in terms of pockets, zips, etc? Just so that I can make sure to incorporate the best in my design! Thanks for any help Recyclingchick |
