Default Fahrrad Manufaktur T700 Tourer

Hi.
I've read a lot of useful stuff on these forums about the Surly Long Haul Trucker but wondered if anyone had opionions on the Fhrrad Manufaktur T700 bike - ideally a comparison with the Surly. I suspect that it might not be know in the US so maybe I should put this post in the European section, but perhaps I'm wrong. Any other recommendations will be read with interest but I've already heard a lot about Trek 520s and while Bruce Gordon's are surely lovely I don't think I could get one in the UK without import hassles. Fuji also seems surprisingy hard to get hold of in the UK.
thanks
