LOL! Yeah, this forum is kind of funny like that. I've posted a few up here with little or no repsonse. Other times I get what I really need; a lot of great feedback and advice. As for me; style? Just get out and ride. As long as you're not in the office, break from other people, and out in the woods (or road for that matter), who cares what style? If I was to classify it, it would be, "Get Away From Everything and Clear Your Head" style. Cheers! RIDE ON! RubberSideDown |

My style tends toward Ralph Lauren and whatever fits at TJMAXX. Although I wouldn't mind some Hugo Boss or Versace, but that would cut into the money available for clif bars and carbon & titanium bits for my bikes. ![]() |

Awesome man, I totally use biking as a way to relax and get away from everything. Good to know there are other people like me! ![]()

If it wasn't for riding, I would be pinned up in a padded cell everyday... Oh Yeah, I am locked up in a padded cell everyday, it's called a cubicle. I work, therefore I ride. RIDE ON! |

I mostly ride my Cannondale Scalpel in the dirt. I also have a Kona Hahanna that I dust off every once in a while. On the pavement, I ride a Trek 2100. You? |

On the road, a 1981 vintage cromo Colnago with friction shift and super record campy - or, my way cool new Specialized Roubaix Pro - or, a KHS Tandem to ride with my son. On the trail, a 1997 vintage Cadex carbon fiber hardtail with a retrofitted Proflex 956 fork - or a 1999 ProFlex 956 full suspension (Way comfy!) On the track - a custom Spectrum from Tom Kellog (1980), or as soon as I finish building it, a Colnago Dream Pista. |

Hey, I have been mountain biking for several years, but recently got into urban assault style riding. My only problem is that my current rig is a 19" GT cross country rig, and I want a more aggressive style frame/components . If anyone could lend some advice on new frame choices/ components that I should replace, I would really appreciate it. I want to spend somewhere around 300$ for a new frame and a little extra cash upgrading some components (stem, chainrings, handelbars etc.). Most of the components however, I plan on taking off my current ride. Also, I also need a bike comfortable enough to ride to class everyday on top of this so I am thinking of something in the 15-16" range for a frame.

Way to highjack my thread JK but anyway as for a good urban frame look into the norco ryde or 4hun or somthing along thoes lines. The more you ride it the better it will feel, where i live it is really hilly but I still love having single speed! It feels so soild, no chain slap, and best of all it's really easy to maintain once set up properly. The best tip i ever got when I was starting to build my bike was keep it simple. The less crap you have on it the more reliable it will be. Also by emliminating gears and a front brake you can do mad bar spins!
