Smile Riding accross Australia

Does anyone want to ride accross Australia during 2005, Depending on wind either Perth to Sydney/Melbourne or Adelaide or vice versa. If we had enough starters we could hire a van to carry our gear and food.

That's a pretty hardcore effort. Don't know if I'd be fit enough but we could always see closer to the date. Would definitely be an achievement. We would need a LOT of water...

There's plenty of water available all the way across, but from Roadhouses. These usually carry supplies just like any other petrol station, so they sell water in bottles up to about 1.5L and were charging up to $3.60 each, two years ago. That way you can expect to spend more than $400 on water. If you have a support vehicle, you'll be able to buy bulk and save heaps.
