Default local bike shops

i retract my claim that all LBS are overpriced etc... today on my ride i had a puncture, sincee i have been out on a number of occassions and not got one i decided i didn't need pump and intube, puncture repair kit etc.

but some 8miles away from me i received a puncture, luck has it i was near to a bike shop, not my local one, but if i need anything from now on i will be visiting this shop.

i went into the shop to see if they had a puncture repair kit, £1.00 fine i had a pound on me, i usually take a little money with me incase i ahve an accident and need to use the phone. so on attempting to repair the puncture the owner, told me i was pretty much wasting my time, he gave me a new innertube and inflated it, and sent me on my way with a don't make a special journey to pay for it, just drop it off next time your passing.

what a nice guy! anyway the shop was EB-CYCLES pemberton wigan, what a very very nice guy he is.... 8miles away, guess thats as local as i'm gonna get..

THanks..
