Default Socks

I have read somewhere that you should not wear socks when track racing. Is this correct?

Weird tan line!

Then I guess that bald riders should not wear helmets as the vent holes leave tan lines/tan marks as well.

For those who feel they are inadequate.

Yep thats spot on. Track sprinters always have 'low sock height'. On the other hand good roadies always have 'high sock height' a general rule is the stronger you are the higher you must wear your socks.

High sock height - http://www.cyclingnews.com/tour04.p...D_tdf04_stg20_4

Don't wear low sock height on the road unless your as quick as Baden Cooke and co

cheers
