Default WTB:After an entry level road bike....

Wanna get some excersice and after looking around, i like the Giant OCR3.
So if you have a 2nd hand one and you wanna upgrade, let me know.
Size Large, around the 55cm mark.
Other brands welcome as long it's on par with the above or better.
Looking to spend around the $600-$700.

Is the Lear Sports models any good?

Thanks..Birnie

(Sydney area preffered but sometimes travel down to Canberra and up to Central Coast)

Better off getting an OCR 3 new than old for your budget i think. Giant´s 2005 model bikes are out now and its worth checking to see if theres any deals that can be done for last years models. Possibly an OCR 2 could fall into your budget then which would have better components

http://www.giantbikes.net/dealers.html

Some NSW stores are listed there. Give em all a call and see what they have.

I got a chance to see the New LearSport 8000 10 Speed Ultegra a couple of weeks ago (pre-order on their site). Great specs and great price. The only problem I had with it was the colours and the other learsports too) but that's just me.

I think they're very good value.

The 2005 Giant rage have been in the shops fro 4-6 weeks, more models each week.

I have seen the Sedona, CRX, OCR, personally in Perth, visit a shop not a web page.

The learsport bikes are good. I purchased a Lear 8000 with 105 gear and the 540 wheels. I have had the bike for 11 monthws with no complaints. It is light, accelerates well and I have won a few races on it (though that may be due to training!)
