Default unclean bike paths

I can't stand it when the street sweeper , cleans the roads, but not the bike paths, or even worse pushes the stuff from the street into the bike paths .

Haven't experienced that here. Of course, as I've mentioned in previous posts, this area is fairly bike friendly.

There is one route I ride where there are thousands of nails, screws and other tire hazards on the road.

I saw my local street sweeper guy the other day and very politely mentioned a bunch of broken glass on a path. He said he couldn't get his sweeper on 'cause it's too wide for the path, but he'd mention it to the city maintenance crew. Two days later it was all swept up!
