Women's 3000m pursuit record down by ~5 sec. Men's 4000m team pursuit down by 1 sec Women's 500m - 34 sec barrier broken |

I think the focussed preparation by cyclists wanting to peak for the Olympics plays a big part as well. In the women's IP, at least three riders (including the record holder) beat the record set by Sarah Ulmer at the World Champs in Melbourne. Lindsay |
