Can anybody out there supply me with the number of active fun cyclists in your country. Also if possible the number of licenced cyclists.

You mean recreational cyclists?
I've got no idea, maybe try www.bicycling.net.au or www.bv.com.au (or another state bike organisation) for some statistics..

I know of no system of licensing cyclists in Australia. The statistic you ask for may not exist; at best it would be a guess.
