Channel 840 is TVEI on Dish Network. I called to check on adding it and only the package is available. So, for about $25 you can add the package and then pay $5 to cancel it in a month. I'm thinking about doing it but the coverage only looks like 1 hr 20 minutes each day, delayed.
Also, in my current package has 833 GLVSN already, which appears to be showing something on Sundays called "Lucha de Vuelta" which I'm guessing is a recap show based on the loose translation from my Spanish dictionary. Any help on that? |

"Lucha de Vuelta" sounds more like pro wrestling to me. or maybe some kind of free fighting. |

Briansather, thank you kindly. No hablas español? that is too bad!!!! I don't think I will pay Dish Network that much anyway. I try to keep myself updated through velonews.com and ciclingnews.com. plus www.todociclismo.com. It would have been really nice to see Vino, Tyler, Petacchi and Garzelli (some of my favorites) but hey, I guess I just have to wait to see them next year at the Spring Classics. This year OLN did a pretty good job broadcasting more cycling events early in the season but then all of the sudden decided not to televise this spanish event???...go figure why? Anyway, too dissapointing.... By the way, "lucha de vuelta" is probably a wrestling show; are you sure it wasn't "lucha libre?" Anyway, thanks a lot for the info. Pop-up window doesn't seem to work (it says "connecting to server," etc, but never actually shows any video). Might try again later.
Aside from cable/satellite, is there any other place to see even some video clips of the race? Checked the official website, only found images... |

I'm watching it on TVE via cable but I've heard good reports on this portal. Apparently the subscription price is $10 for the month. Look for TVE on the right side.

I assume it's on the same time TVE is broadcasting the race which is problematic due to the non adhearence to a strict schedual like here in the states. But to answer your question, It's been on at 3:50pm-5pm everyweekday. the weekend coverage is longer & earier in the day. They pick the race up with about 30km to go and have no commercials. this thread has a bunch of info. http://www.bicyclegroup.com/forum/i...p?showtopic=209 |

Goto Eurosports wesbite and listen to the audio feed if you are struggling to get race coverage.
You Yanks should start sending some hatemail to your TV networks. Everytime i visit America there are about 250 channels full of shyte in the hotel - unbelievable that you have one of the greatest riders ever and yet the TV networks dont want to know. Whats more your Gold medal boy Tyler is in this thing with a chance to win. |
