Default down ridin

hi

I'm about to purchures a Specialized P.2 or P.3. But some people have
been telling me that it is no good for trail or down hill is this true
i'm not going to be doing massive downhill races but i don't want a bike
that sucks at it .

If it does can any one suggest a bike that can downhill trail and
freeride in the $1000 to $1800 range

thanks

Find a bike shop that knows about downhill riding. VicMTB, Pushi and
Spoken if you are in Melbourne.
